  3. This is a really interesting design. You mentioned that you were thinking of joining the side seams at the top. It would be interesting to see if topstitching the V of the overdress to the top of the underdress would look okay. That would avoid the need for elastic, and at the same time make sure the under-dress stayed up and in place.

    1. Hi Leigh, thanks for dropping by. I think there are a few solutions to the issue of keeping the underdress in place. However I think that ultimately I would like the underdress to be separate so I could use across my wardrobe. It would make an excellent combination with a large semi-transparent shirt. So many possibilities. :) Are you thinking of making this design?
